Pastor Anthony F. Harris.
MSW, LSW, LADC, was born on September 4, to Elder Arnold (Frank) and Mother
Mae Harris in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was educated in the Clark County Public

Vegas View Church Of God In Christ under the
leadership of the late Supt. Claude H. Parson, II, and Mother Stella Parson.
There, he grew in the knowledge of the Lord and participated in many
ministries in the church. He was saved at the age of 20 in the home of his
godsister and mentor, Dr. Naida Parson, founder and current pastor of New
Antioch Christian Fellowship (Las Vegas, Nevada). He was filled with the
baptism of the Holy Ghost nine days later and accepted his call into the
ministry under the tutelage of Supt. Claude Parson, pastor of the Vegas View
COGIC. He was licensed as a minister in the Churches Of God In Christ (
Fellowship District, Nevada Jurisdiction) at the age of 22. He soon moved to
Reno, Nevada
and worshiped at the Jehovah-Jireh COGIC (Northern
District, Nevada
Jurisdiction) under the leadership of Pastor Live Tau and ordained as an
elder at the age of 25. There he served as Associate Pastor, Youth Pastor,
Trustee Board Member, Sunday School Teacher, and Northern District YPWW
President. While living in Reno, he heard God tell him to “prepare to
pastor”. He moved back to Las Vegas in 1999, and resumed his worship at the
Vegas View COGIC under the leadership of Pastor Jerald Mason. There he
served in various ministries, including Associate Pastor until he answered
his call to Pastor in the fall of 2000 where New Dominion Ministries was
born. The name of the church was later changed to New Dominion Christian
Center in 2004.
After years of searching, God finally blessed him with his
helpmeet as he married the gorgeous Elnora Miller in the summer of 2004. He
received his Bachelors of Science in Human Services (BSHS) degree in 2002
and his Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree at the University
of Nevada,
Las Vegas in 2005. He is licensed as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and as a
Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) both in the state of Nevada.
He is serving as an intern to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),
and is currently studying for his Doctorate degree in Sociology at UNLV. He
desires to see the people of God be all that they can be, spirit, soul, and
body. He desires the people to develop dominion attitude and live a dominion
lifestyle. |
